Recreational Activities
We're located just a stone's throw from Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The southwestern North Dakota badlands offer unique opportunities to explore an area that changed a skinny, young New Yorker into a future president. Much of the area remains the same as when Teddy Roosevelt first visited to hunt bison in 1893.
Some of the activities in the area include:
- Hiking or biking on the Maah Daah Hey Trail
- Bird Watching
- Horseback Riding
- Fishing
- Hunting
- Scenic Drives
- Golfing
- Medora Musical
- Shopping
*Area wildlife includes buffalo, elk, deer, antelope, big horn sheep, and prairie dogs.
*Please respect the wildlife.*
